Toriishi was founded in 1978 and started as a chicken shop.We purchase fresh whole chickens from contracted poultry farms around the country with whom we have had close relationships since our days as a chicken wholesaler.The chickens that arrive to you are cut up and skewered in-store, so we are able to offer them at affordable prices as well as being delicious.We are committed to protecting the masses' enjoyment of yakitori.

In order to provide delicious yakitori made from fresh chicken at an affordable price, we skewer the chicken by hand every day in our workshop on the second floor of our main store.We can confidently recommend this dish because we use carefully selected chicken that we skewer by hand.

This is a flavor that has been added to and maintained over and over since the company was founded.Toriishi sauce has a unique mellowness.In fact, we purchase whole chickens, cut them up in the store, and then use the resulting fresh chicken bones to prepare the dish, which we then simmer slowly in sauce.This unique flavor is only possible at Toriishi, which has a route through Kashiwaya.
